The oven is one the best inventions ever. But not with out its drawbacks. So many fires have been started because of unintended ovens. Sure you can set a timer but that does not solve the problem. If the oven auto shuts off then its good. But timers do not auto shut off the oven they just beep to warn you the food is done. It can still be running even after the timer goes off and thus burning the food. Plus estimating how long the food should be cooked for in the first place is not always easy.
How about adding a hidden camera or 2 in the oven to detect what is being cooked and auto shut off the oven when its done so food is perfect every time and never over cooked.
